Olivia Ellison, DrPH

Dr. Olivia Ellison is a passionate and accomplished public health professional with a unique blend of expertise in health communication, education, and emergency preparedness. As Principal Consultant at Dr. Olivia Consulting, she partners with organizations to develop and implement impactful health and safety initiatives, with a particular focus on fostering resilient and prepared communities.

Dr. Ellison's experience spans a diverse range of settings, including education, emergency management, and public health departments. She has a proven track record of:

• Designing and delivering specialized training programs for staff, including emergency medical technicians and health coordinators.

• Developing comprehensive emergency preparedness programs and resources.

• Conduct thorough needs assessments and collaborate with leadership to identify and address safety concerns.

Dr. Ellison holds a Doctor of Public Health Leadership from Rutgers University, where her research focused on rural health and school-based gun violence through a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens. She also holds a Master of Public Health from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Northern Colorado.
